I really liked several including Sherlock Holmes II and Pirates of the Carrabean 4. However Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 gets my vote for the best film of 2011.
By the way, i think this thread is in the wrong forum, it should be in Off Topic.
Ew, I forgot HP 7.2 I change my vote, that movie was so Epic.

SH was rather like the books. Several times Sherlock mentioned in the books that he was skilled in various forms of hand-to-hand combat, as well as mentioning to Watson several times about how Watson was more useful in cases that required physical exertion, implying he was handy in a fight as well. They made Sherlock more comedic, but it would be utterly boring if his eccentricities weren't at least funny. The only real change (other than humor, of which there was some in the books) was Watson's relationship with Holmes, which IMO is much more believable in the movies.
But the books were all about the puzzles. I can't remember any scene in any SH book where Sherlock actually fights (except the mention of him throwing Moriarty to his death, but that's only mentioning, so it doesn't count), and here, he doesn't do anything else. And the only joke I saw (only seen the commercial's which is why I don't mention the story) was Lame with a capital L. Oh, I forgot, Sherlock doesn't seem the arrogant, but brilliant man he's supposed to be.
