It’s a pleasure to read your posts about following the FOTR-Journey Book. :) It is one of my favorite GW books; once I had the plan to write something similar for my Combat Hex miniatures… Somehow, your scenarios, your minis and terrain pieces breathe the ‘true’ LOTR atmosphere from “… long ago in the quiet of the world, when there was less noise and more green”.

Anyway you’re a skilled painter and terrain builder. So: go on, go on…

Thank you all for your positive comments :) I'm glad you're enjoying the posts.

Here's the latest, though not The Fellowship of the Rings specifically.

Easy fight for the three hunters... 8)
Turn 1: Gimli kills his enemy, Aragorn kills 1/2, Legolas shoots and kills 1/2
Turn 2:Gimli goes from the back of Aragorn and kills one, Aragorn kills 1, Legolas shoots another two
Turn 3: Aragorn and Gimli finish the remaining enemies...
So inspired I will play it right now...

Ah but Hilbert, what you are forgetting is the 10,000s of Uruk-hai over the otherside of the wall :)

Thanks :)

Just followed the plans in the GW The Two Towers Sourcebook, mainly foamboard, card stone relief and polystyene...

Got a couple more walls and the gatehouse to build...

Thanks

Thank you, I edit the background using photoshop and another suitable image.

As far as backgrounds are concerned I prefer this one :)
