So I was looking for some alternative heads for my fiefdom armies and I stumbled upon the website of ebobminiatures. It has some pretty cool helmets with swans on it, and I decided to check the website out. Then I saw the clansmen he makes, and I was wondering if any of you have those miniatures and I would like to know if they could fit in with the Clansmen of Lamedon!

I really like the poses so please let me know if you have any.

Regards,
Yoram.

Aye they do , but you're missing one part, they're menat to have two-handed swords not shields and single-handed swords, much converting is in order for you, but, if you are skilled, worth the effort for the price.

To answer the original question - YES absolutely! I think they're by far better than GW's miniatures. The only problem is you'd have to houserule, giving them choices of spears, shields, hand weapons and no armour. I would definately use these, and without conversions.

Also, Gripping Beast has some new Dark Age Scots coming soon. They have more, older Scottish miniatures as well as Irish and Welsh which would also be suitable.

I love the guy with the Claymore in the back row right side. I imagine it shouldn't be too hard to find Scots.

I was hoping to get some of Ebobs Clansmen and use them as Warriors of the Ringlo Vale, does anyone know if he still sells them? I haven't seen him post on the One Ring for a while. Would be great to own some!
