That doesn't make it less annoying, only more so.

My personal gripe has to be with the sizing of the dragon- I like the proportions of the model, but with the size, it would have to be a young dragon. Really young. Younger than Smaug attacking Erebor young.

The one that I hate most is the Fell Beasts (both metal and plastic) as the size of the Riders mean the would break the fell beasts neck, especially with that thick heavy armour. But the Dragon is annoying too, as are the rest. Since this topic is for Dragon's I would add that they should definately be bigger.

I agree that they should be much bigger, not insanely so, but enough that a cave troll shouldn't look like it could send the dragon packing on an off day.

I've heard rumors about smaug being roughly mumak sized......But I think that was last November or so, even before this last big release. So it was probably just that, rumors; not based on anything other than fanciful wishes and a bit of thought. :)
And I agree, the dragon is too small.

Mumak sized dragons. :D
That's what I was going for with my Glaurung project. Personally, I don't mind the size of the GW model, as long as it's supposed to be a younger, lesser dragon & not a "this one was a big deal/ruined everyone's lives" dragon.

The GW dragon is not meant to be a younger dragon, its just at a smaller scale like the other large monsters. (stupid gw)

Can you imagine what they'd charge for a bigger one?

No kidding! If it was plastic, it would most likely be in Mumak price-range. However, why should they do that? (Actually, it would make sense to do that because then they could probably cannibalize certain elements (like wings) from some of the Warhammer range.

It would be against their licence to cannabalise pieces from Warhammer range, so they wouldn't do it, though some players would likely use their parts in conversions as long as they allow GW not to aknowledge it or allow them to win any tournamnets.
