So considering that GW doesn't really make an armored version of legolas (no, straps and spaulders don't count), I decided to try to convert one as an ally to my Rivendel army.

I started with a simple head swap with a metal galadhrim archer. I filled the gap under head by modeling hair and extending his cloak in the back. Not content with simply a Legolas wearing galadhrim armor, I added scale armor under his mail, extended the quiver, added exposed tunic at the waist, extended plate armor down leg, and added a sword & sash.

nice conversion, looks even better in your link when painted too. You also managed to paint an alternate colour scheme without it looking very odd like most people's unconventional schemes do which is great!
