Hello all

just wanting thoughts and or suggestions for an army hope to field in upcoming Tourney Max 600points no single fig greater than 200points

Warband 1 Leader
Knight of Umbar mounted on armoured Fellbeast
6 Morannon Orcs with spear and shield
Warband 2
Black Guard Captain
10 Black Guard Warriors and 1 BG Banner
Warband 3
Uruk Hai Captain with Bow
10 Uruk hai scouts with Bow

Ii have the knight who can counter any other hero with combat mimicry, he can zip about the board taking out opponents archers and threats
strong Black guard unit with high F, S and D
Scouts have armed with shields sos get D5 and better chance to hit on 4+ however pretty weak bow, do i trade for Crossbowmen?
Also only have 31 Figs

Your scouts can only be 1/3 bows since they are from a different faction. Just use trackers if you have them. If not mordor uruks with bow or regular orcs with bow and spear.

If you are armed with a bow you do not get the +1 to defence for carrying a shield, it would be best to drop the shields and spend 10 points elsewhere. I would recommend switching the uruk scouts to orc trackers (as stated by Jobu you can't have them 100% bow as they are a different faction) and then with the extra points from that, add a few more morannon orcs with spear and shield.

have palyed 1 game with list unfortunately against a all bodyguard Gondor army consisiting of citadel guard archers, fountain court guard and a few heroes, Ouch !!!!
killed the fellbeast in second turn and unfortunatey bad rolling on my behalf didn't help
so as per suggestions have changed to Mordor Uruks with bow and swapped Uruk captain for Morannon Orc Captain
with 15 points saved have added a spectre to draw out heroes if can
so warband 1 has spectre added and warband 3 changed to above (mordor uruks with morannon captain)
