Just a question: When is the voting for the June mini going up? I really want to know what it'll be.

I'll post it tomorrow. Very sorry but internet has been playing up this last week and it was only fixed today so thanks to BT I haven't been able to get online lately.

Well, I might as well add my proof pic if I'm to enter.

And here is where it is now. Well, most recent. The pictures make the horse look brown instead of a dark grey.

I'll finish the base and take better pictures when I can.
Good luck to all! 8)

The back part of the base is supposed to be burning wood, (or rather burnt wood with fire embers still glowing) with burnt grass around it. The other side is the original grass un-burnt. Good luck to those participating! 8)

Great colour choices, Wah Wing! Purple and white work really well together. And it's great that we have at least one finished entry even while the official model is out of print at the moment.

Here is a WIP of where my hasharin is at the moment:

It's the "Male Assassin" from Dark Sword Miniatures from their Visions in Fantasy range: http://darkswordminiatures.com/mainwebsite_html/store2VIF.htm

Some of the minis are too generic fantasy/medieval miniatures for LotR, but they also have quite many miniatures that are suitably LotR-like, especially their rangers.

Thanks Valpas. I got the colour scheme from a Haradrim army I saw on GW. The one with the flowers and converted dead Mumakil, if that jogs your memory. It's the same scheme I use for my Haradrim. Hopefully you can finish your entry so I have someone to compete with.

Thanks DMS. Do you plan on entering this one? I don't remember what you said.

Good luck to everyone finishing their entries. 8)

Much as I would like to enter this month I'm snowed under with commission work so am concentrating on getting through that first - couple of months and I'll be back in the game.
Good luck all 8)

Here is my finished entry. At least now we can have a voting! :P

Since there has been some interest on the size of this and other Dark Sword miniatures, I also took a comparison shoot, showing this one side by side with GW's haradrim and DS elf miniature:

As usual, a bigger pics can be seen in the blog.
