2 things: -There aren't any options in the poll
-Please put capslock off

My preferred would be BFME 2, because it has more variation in factions and units then BFME, and also it's not like getting the Witch-King is auto-win to Mordor.

It is decide, not 'DISIDE'.

If anyone says anything other than BFMEII then they probably haven't heard of it, it far surpasses (except for mistakes like Glorfy's hair, the W-K's power, and because all the Dwarves are cheesy).

Gamewise BFME2 is alot better but BFME1 has an extremely big middle earth feel to it. Which is why I like it better. I'm not a huge gamer so I don't get bored too easily.

BFME 1 is different to most rts's (at least those that I've played, namely the age of empires series) in that there are certain places where you can build. In one way I really like that, it makes the game so much more tactical, and you end up fighting over a spot of land so much more. But, it can get annoying at times because you can't have a mega base and get everything you want all at once. Also, BFME 2 has more variety and better gameplay. I mostly play 2. But 1 is fun every now and then to switch things up. Sorta like AoE, I play 2 the most, but every now and then I play 1, just for the change. :)

I didn't know AoE had numbers.

Age of Kings, AoK the conquerors (2)

Then 3, which I never got into.

3 is epic, you should really ty it, it's by far the best.

Meh. I've seen videos and researched it and all that, but it just doesn't seem to be as good as the conquerors. The gameplay really changes from 2 to 3, and from what I've heard there aren't very many strategies. Just age up as fast as possible and get some long range artillery, and a few cheap pikes or something to protect it. Then bombard your opponents city to pieces.

With the mods available for both games it would be a harder choice for me!
BfME has the Dwarf Holds and Elven Alliance mods. (Elven Alliance makes the campaign so much better)
BfMEII has the Special Extended Edition (which I'm a mapper for).
RotWK had RJ-mod, which added Evil Men, two Elven factions, and puts Rohan back in.
Of course if you are German there is the Edain mod, but I don't understand a thing of it.

Might I recommend

If you feel like looking yourself.

Also I feel like the maps (look at them in Worldbuilder) in this game should be used for those wishing to get inspiration for making terrain for miniatures - there are many ideas in them, and the accuracy is perfect for the 3D models.
