I just picked up the book for £4 from Sainsburys. Ok its targeted for kids, but interesting reading about each dwarf characteristics and weaponry choice. The goblins are different to the Moria ones from the LotR trilogy too, but not overly so. They are more pinky in colour. I actually thought Thranduil looked ok too but thats just my opinion.

I'll see what I can do. Oh yeah, and Elrond has some fancy new brown armour and dark robes. Looks a bit like the costume when Anakin went dark in the 3rd Star Wars prequel.

What's this book called and what does the cover look like? I'll have to look for it after work tomorrow...

Hey, at least you can paint the mini in a more "Last Alliance" colour scheme if you want...

Elrond looks badass. GW need to make that exact pose as a mini.

Thanks a lot Dave!

And I take it back about Elrond, you described him badly. I'll definitely be purchasing that mini.

Also he's gonna fit right in with the scheme I've just started for the Twins!

I did? Brown armour, dark robes, and looks like a dark Jedi. I thought that was pretty spot on. The pic is crying out for a red lightsaber to be photoshopped in!

Wow, Elrond looks AMAZING, but those goblins are... strange to say the least.

Aye, they seem to have the same design aesthetic and colour scheme as Gothmog. Unfortunately, Gothmog is easily my least favourite PJ film creation.

Perhaps these are a leftover of del Toro's work?

You guys are forgetting that the goblins in LOTR are only seen in the dark pale light of Moria.:) If you were to wear these masks in a cave they'd look 'green' enough.:p
