Wow, those are ridiculously awesome! Dammit, and to think my budget is blown on a Spider Queen and some Khazad Guard until mid-month. After that, I think I'll have to get a few of these guys from eBob. Anyone know if Giant Spiders are in the new Mordor book?

I can't really tell if the spiders are good, if I look at them for more than a second I get goosebumps and a little panic attack..

I guess that means they are excellent :D

Yes they are. As is the spider queen, dragon and cave drake.

Each one was a little different, but basically started out with a dark brown and worked lighter browns in while the base color was still wet...finally added some highlights with one of my tiny brushes and a slight wash over the hairy areas and the green area on the one spider.

Thanks Bilbo :D We may have some similar looking spiders soon  Once again, great work! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Hmmm... six of those would make a nice accompaniment for the Queen...

Not any chance of me painting any more spiders...just too freaky for me to deal with! :)

Brilliant work on those spiders! Absolutely creepy! I love the way you photographed them as well - the shadow really adds a scare factor.

Thanks brother! :)
The only way I could capture a good shot of them was outside...I must get a stronger light for my desk and a better low light lens for my camera to get better indoor shots. :)

@Bilbo, that spectral Eowyn looks very good. And I mean very good. Seemless join, and very cool. :D

Finished my warband of orcs for the monthly challenge.
The last group of three I added a bit of humor to their paint jobs...call them 'the rooster' and his 'hens'. :)

Yeah, the metal orcs are alot nicer than any of the plastics...I highly recommend getting some if the budget allows (god knows my budget cannot afford anymore...hehe).
