Could anyone suggest a decent army for Arnor that benefits from no bow limit includes allied warbands of Hobbits and/or High Elves. I don't mind what points limit it is so long as it's a multiple of 250pts. Thanks in advance.

i am certainy no expert but i reckon this list would be very annoying to play against - tons of bows, non-kill-ability by malbeth, blinding light by gandalf.
what do you think?

Looks good, just the fact that Halbarad and Malbeth weren't alive at the same time is annoying :/

I guess so. Doesn't necessarily have to stick to every word in the book but it would be good if characters were only with others who were alive at the same time.

Rename Halbarad as a captain of Rangers for the Fall of Arnor, problem solved. The Banner of Arwen could be remade as the Banner of Numenor, an ancient relic of the Dunedain.

I second this. Repurposing profiles can be very thematic, especially if you use a unique model or at least one thats different to the profile you're using. I got Duinhir (Blackroot Vale hero) because I like the model, not because I play Fiefdoms (I have a handful of Clansmen of Lamedon but don't use them). I instead use Duinhir in my Arnor army army to represent Aranarth (Heir of Arvedui the last King of Arthedain; and the first Chieftain of the Dunedain). I simply use Halbarad's profile (equipped with a spear of course), renamed to Aranarth.

the two given lists might be thematic or fun to play with, but very (in my opinion to) expensive.

700pts, 51 units, 7 might, 16 bows

a defence 6, fight 4 shield wall backed up by a 6" banner, malbeths healing and 3+ archers is not going to be broken quikly
