Please help me with my master's thesis on online gaming

Esteemed One Ringers and probably also Gamers!

I am doing a survey as part of my master’s thesis on online gaming, and I need an informed populace (preferably with MMO experience, but not a must) to fill it out. It’s only 10 questions, mostly about your gaming habits and preferences. If you could take a few minutes to fill it out, you would help me out a lot.

This is not part of any professional market survey, nor is it financed by anyone at all. I’m just some dude trying to get a degree, which is why I rely on the volunteers I can find in online forums. Since I lurk on these forums a lot (and sometimes ask silly newb questions) I figured I might as well put it up here as well as the MMO specific sites I've put it on. Spread my investements and what have you.

Thanks to everyone who filled it out so far! I really appreciate the help, and I'm already halfway to my target number of responses.

I was thinking I would do a write-up of the conclusions drawn from it once the paper is done. Hopefully someone will find it interesting, and I can counteract the uplifting speech I got when I started this paper: "There's probably only gonna be 3 or 4 people who will ever read this paper". Thanks, prof.

I'm on LotRO! I have a level 75 captain on Laurelin waiting for Rohan. Of course, I have barred myself from gaming until this paper is done, so I'll be at least a month late.

I'm a level 25 Champion in Crickhollow. I'm debating whether to go ahead and get Riders of Rohan (with the bonuses like a lot of the lower level quest packs) or wait til I can actually use the extra stuff.

If you think you're gonna buy Rohan eventually that you might save money in the long run by getting in on the pre-order deal. Although, as a disclaimer I don't know how much those packs usually are or if you'd be equally well off waiting since quest packs go on sale all the time.

Something to research, I suppose.
