I look forward to seeing the Hobbit scenry brought to life before the film even comes out, hope it goes well

Nice promising banks of abridge too, I think the wooden one would be better hna stone in that angle.

I had a lot of work to do on this week with some non LOTR projects. I was able to get some very large bark sections. I had to make a cross cut sled for the table saw to safely cut them.

This is the same portable work table at the top of the page. I should have enough for my brothers project and then some.

I cut out enough wood plank to replace the stone walk ways I built for Goblin Town

I will swap the walkways back and forth. I weatered the wood with a old model rail road trick so I could make the replacement parts quickly.

This is amazing! Even before I made an account on here, your topic was one of the reasons to visit this site once every now and then.
Simply stunning work here! Also very creative use of modular pieces. I'm really looking forward to seeing Goblin Town take shape!

Jon added some flocking and posted an update on face book.
I made some flocking from some spare paint and saw dust for Treefort Games. Jon added it after I went home.

This is what I imagined the Goblin King throne room would look like.
After seeing the Lego toys I will need to add lots of wood.The Goblin King is also as large as a troll so I have lots of work ahead.

Great work so far! Love the way its coming along. I have no experience at all with this sort of thing, but I'd love to have a go doing a couple themed tables.
