Hi,
I painted a Ral Partha Europe Treeman to use it as an ent, since it was only 4GBP as opposed to GW's 25GBP ent. It also looks pretty good, so I think it's a great substitute for an Ent. Maybe it's a little smaller than GW's ent, but I don't really care about that. I already posted these pictures at the Lead-Adventure forum, but I thought I'd show them here as well.

I also converted and painted an Uruk-Hai Shaman, made from left-over bits of GW figures. I painted it in a sickly, magical green colour to show the evil magic of the creature.

What do you all think of it?

I really like the ent its painted very well. The uruks are a good well thought out idea tho the pose looks a little awkward they are well painted and look cool. Well done!

I think that both paintjobs are nice and crisp. I much prefer the Ent though due to the awkward pose of the shaman. Some are smaller than others, so ir's natural for some Ents to be smaller too.

Thanks! The Shaman is meant to be doing some war-dance, so that's why his pose is a little strange.

Dude the paint jobs are really nice. I like the ent.

The shaman looks good but he looks like he is trying to do Kung Fu or some kind of dance.

The Ent is a good looking model and the paint job is really nice.
