I don’t think the rulebook will have scenarios for films 2 and 3. Not sure if each film will have a new rulebook or just a new journey book.

I'm betting on a new rulebook for every film... GW seem to love expensive rulebooks at regular intervals

Having a lot of trouble with downloading it. I have downloaded the White Dwarf app from iTunes but I can't find today's issue anywhere.

Looks like that madness is over! What a night folks, thanks for the fun. Can't wait to receive my own copies of the box set and rules. Also can't wait to see the film and compare them to my minis xD

Well, this was to be expected. Foolish me hoped they do it plastic only. Dunno if I will buy anything, but for sure I won't buy any finecast. Thus, the whole range is not really interesting for me, as I cannot get a complete collection of anything.

About the look, its ok. Not more, not less.

Is the inclusion of Radagast the only difference between the two editions of Escape from Goblin Town?

Just as an update, we've now sold out of December White Dwarfs as well. Still have plenty of standard edition goblin town box sets and virtually unlimited on all the other kits such as trolls etc.

haven't been on here for a looooong time but the hobbit release makes me want to get involved again! I think the only problem is we havent seen the films yet! by the time you see the film and fall in love with the characters you'll fall in love with the film. BTW who is painting these minis for gw, the council ones are shocking! look at elronds eyes he looks like hes had too much pipe weed!

I keep looking over the sprues for Escape to Golin Town and the Goblin Town scenery kit and it looks like each of those must include at least two of each sprues. I can't see how you could build any of the pictures from each page with only one set of sprues.

I think all the painting (and the White Council sculpts) is rather meh. Especially on the goblins, with all their boils and things...
