Barks - one well painted hobbit is great but you have churned out a horde of them... I love Bolger's trousers!

Aah - somewhere in the back of the cobwebbed mess that is my memory, I knew that I had seen something along those lines. I was thinking of Rupert the Bear or Bertie Wooster but didn't want to say anything in case you thought I was pulling your leg. The Shiriffs and Bandobras are great too - i am astonished at the number of hi-standard minis in such a short time as the hobbits are about 40% of the size of normal 28mm scale minis in the range.
My ears are twitching... are there Sackville-Bagginses coming?

40% of the size, only 40% as long to paint, perhaps? I just got started early in the month and disciplined myself.

No Sackville-Bagginses unfortunately.

Rupert Bear! I didn't think of that. Now I won't be able to disassociate poor old Fatty.

@valpas. Yes it is one of the early 80's (early slottabase too) Citadel LotR minis.

Finished entry. Not so happy with the pics. I was trying to see if I could just use my phone, but I guess I need to quit being lazy and dig out the camera. I'll try to get better pictures before the deadline.

Made it! Thirty-eight minis done.

Everyone bar Bullroarer. Four Shirriffs are front left.

Sixteen militia.

Twelve archers and a hornblower.

Bullroarer, Fatty, Bullroarer, Farmer Maggot, and Paladin Took.

Thanks for giving me the impetus to get this off the ground, and the support to complete it. There are more and larger shots at my blog.

That's... um, I don't know... amazing just doesn't describe it. Quite a feat, painting 38 minis in such quality and in just one month. Wow!

I got the hankering to enter. So here's my MoM frodo. It's not a great sculpt, and I didn't do the best job on it, but it's good enough for me, as I will probably never use him in a game.....
