Though I'm not sold on the deformities of these new Goblins your paint job is coming along nicely and dare I say better then the GW one which really put me off the models.

nearly half way through the new boxed set,
Image

Wanted to make the Gobo Captain stand out, so used part of the Club in the new Troll set to make the supporting branch and a piece of cut up Balsa wood to make the floor.

Really enjoying painting these new figures.

First of the Trolls finished, went for a brown skin tone, did not like flesh coloured version on GWs website

Your Troll looks nice as do the Goblins and Thorin's Company. The reason the pale skin was on GW's is because they are based on the film designs, much like your Goblins, which are actuallly paler than the films. I also thought that the FC Goblin Captain stands out enough from the rehualr Gobbos but to each his own.

:yay: :yay:

I would like to see what you do with the other two, also whether you prefer the branches or cutlery for your trolls.

Utterly fantastic painting over the past month. It's hard to say which I like the most as they are all so great. You have to enter the Painting contests!
