Nothing special, I just use Galeforce Nine Hobby Scenics instead of the ultra expensive and less gorgeous & more bland GW flockings.

Here are some I've been working on. They're for a Grey Company/Woodland style army. I think they look pretty cool. Pictures aren't great (nor is the painting ahah) but you get the idea! Got 4 archers to do and then 6 cavalry. I'll post them when I'm done!

Blessings of Illuvatar upon this forum! I am inspired by every single one o' ya!

I've just gotten into the hobby and have chosen a Galadhrim army as my first project (quite popular on this thread, I would assume :-D

). I decided to go with a black-and-gold color scheme, because heck it just looks too cool!

For historical purposes, their origins lie with the Avari, the Unwilling who did not follow Orome the Hunter West. They could have come upon gold-smithing by engaging with the Teleri/Nandor later on (did they gold-smith before the return of the Noldor?), or by the Dwarves wandering to the East, or heck it could've been Annatar trying to seduce them to his service. Either way, I'm trying to make them look cool!

This is my first mini of my first army; comments and suggestions, the door is open!

awesome stuff man, great to have another elven hobbyist here,

I too am looking into the Silmarillion time to give my army a theme.

I'm going to be doing a silver blue scheme with my high elves.

Your Elves actually helped inspire the color scheme I was going for in a roundabout way, Feanor! Going for the gritty, darkside with my Elves. Great work!

Very cool Telchar! I like the contrast of the blue capes and light green leggings, they almost seem to camouflage into the grass beneath them!

Hi, I'm new here but I've recently started back up with this hobby and just wanted to get some feedback on the elves I've painted. Previously I had used a colour scheme more similar to the GW one, but this time around I've gone for something much different. Let me know what you think!

How is this not a sticky post yet? It's great to see how people just post their own works to this thread specifically dedicated to elves. Sticky this one please. There should be a category for each race.
