There is nothing wrong with those quivers. They look no weirder than the random piece of Yazneg's cloak that is attatched to one of his Warg's back legs.

I'm disappointed that Yazneg appears to be direct only, if I'm buying boxed finecast I'd really rather be able to crack it open and check for defects in the store rather than have to ship it back and wait for a replacement via mail order.

That finecast Elrond looks nice, but the waist gap looks like a real pain. How was he for air bubbles and the like?

No noticeable air bubbles but some of the detail got disrupted by the flash and had to be carved out with a knife. Namely on the wrist along the armored forearm.

There was a Yazneg box at my local store over the weekend, so it doesn't seem to be direct only.

Stores usually get an allocation of new direct only stuff but once it's all sold they can't order any more for stock.

I also have te problem with the face/helmet needing some greenstuff to fill the crak, and I also received two extra halfs of the same side. Honestly, if they got rid of the casualties and 1 extra half, there would be enough room for 7 riders total but that just wouldn't be proper for a LOTR cavalry box

Did you contract them about the mistake? They still haven't gotten back to me but if its a recurring problem they might be in discussion about what to do about it. And was it the same 1/2 as I received?

Yeah I'm gonna second that request, I'd really like some info on him since I'm hoping to order one myself once I get my box of warg riders done and I'd love to know what the conversion potential is.

Yes. I do.

The foot model comes with body, left arm, and right arm.

Mounted one comes with main body, 2 warg legs (1 with part of cloak attatched), Yaneg's lance arm, upper part of Warg's hread, and lower part of Warg's leg.

If you want pics, I could have them up for you tomorrow.

Thanks! Are the torso of the warg and Yazneg joined together in the mounted model?

Yes, Yazneg's body is sculpted onto the warg's torso.

I got mold lines on my mtd one's face, don't know if its a recurring problem or not.

As promised pics up tommorrow 8)

Awesome. Gonna saw the body off, use a Berserker instead (for the girth/height), saw in some scars, mould a face (the challenging bit!), attack a Chaos Mace I have spare, and saw off the spare arm and stick some wire in it. Should be fun! The on foot version will become a bogstandard captain for my incredibly fluffy 1500 pt Azog army, to go against my equally fluffy 'good' army:

Evil:
Azog, Bolg, Fimbul, Narzug all on Wargs plus a Captain, 50% bow hunters, 25% Fell Wargs, 25% regular hunters; The Trolls

Good:
Thorin's Company (with Gandalf on Horse); Radagast on Horse with 2 eagles; Saruman on Horse

HEROES HEROES EVERYWHERE.

There is already one scar on Yazneg, so not as much work needed as you thought.

Best Good army at that pts is Gwaihir, Radagast w/ Sled & rodent, 13 Eagles.

For Evil, I could ramble on about Angmar and Goblin themes for ever so I won't start.

Yeah, I know a hundred eagles is better, but I wanna use my Thorin's co! Almost half way through them. Just to let you know, doing a photo step-by-step of the Nazgul on my WIP thread ;)

I have not made any contact about the box set. I think it is the same part, ill have to check when I get home. But I'm pretty sure the extra components I have are: two lances, a banner/arm, 2 extra sides, and an extra arm/lance. I used all the shields.

Here are the Yazneg pics as promised. They're in a spoiler tag to save scrolling space. All still on the sprue. The quality of the 1st one isn't great.
