It was a tragic day. The friendly users of OneRing tried multiple times to reason with him, but the naughty little boy just bit his thumb at them and said "NO". And from that day onward, Nevinsrip would be forever known as 'THE STUBBORN LITTLE CARROT'. And they all tolerated him from then on after. THE END.

Short story written by Samoht.

Did you show your Mommy that? I bet she loved it.

Wow, I thought, 'Hey, let's see what this Arnor thing in the WIP section is.' I saw how good your minis looked, but then I saw what a dbag you are. Really, I don't care if you use up multiple posts, but the vast majority (it might even be every single other poster on here) uses just 1 WIP thread. You attack others for just trying to be helpful when they point out that you could just put your models in a gallery (which would solve everyone's issues with this), because you know, they do look finished, but then you lash out at them because for some reason, the models aren't finished, when they obviously are. Then you laughably show just how full of yourself you are by saying you don't put them here for feedback, you put them here as "inspiration". Then you make fun of this forum as being about playing with toys, when you obviously enjoy it yourself. Then to top it all off, you make fun of samoht's little story (which admittedly wasn't helpful in the least), after he tries to be helpful, by bringing his mother into this, the best part of which is that you don't seem to be able to grasp the concept of the Quote button.

You're coming across as a rude, arrogant jerk. Not that you care, no, you're just here by the grace of god to "inspire" us little folk.

I will re-post my previous comment just incase you missed it. It is a valid point and will help you to sit within the guidelines of the OneRing and enable you to inspire other users even more.

If the reason why you do this is to inspire other people then you must realise that your tiny threads are going to disappear forever within a few days (which you alluded to yourself a few posts back). That's hardly giving them any time to inspire other people. Your work will be constantly visible to other people if you keep it all in one thread. Then people will be constantly inspired by your work, which according to you is why you do this.

So I must ask you Nevinsrip, do you want to inspire people on this forum?
Well we already know the answer is YES, so I'm just telling you that the most efficient way of doing that is by having a single WIP thread to compile your work into.

I've had enough of this!

Guys you have advised Nevinsrip that it may be beneficial to both himself and others to keep his WIP posts together in one thread. Yes your reasons are good as it would make looking at his work easier if it was all together and it would stop some of these great threads from dropping off the planet.

At the end of the day it is Nevinsrips decision how he posts his threads and he has clearly stated that he would prefer to post them as seperate threads - thats fine leave the guy alone. Name calling is completely uneccesary and I am quite frankly dissapointed in some of the posters here. This has spiralled into complete nonsense!!!

Nevinsrip - continue as you please my friend.

End of discussion.

Gentlemen, Allow me to thank DMS for his wisdom. I take everything here with a grain of salt. I am not offended by the name calling, but rather slightly amused that people take a trivial matter such as this and build it up to the point of frenzy.

I believe that I have a valid reason for splitting everything into separate segments. It has ZERO to do with being on the (gasp) front page. It simply has to do with the way the SEARCH here works. My thinking is that it is easier for someone searching for a project to find one individual thread rather than have to wade through page after page of one persons WIP.
Nothing more.

I actually find it humorous that people take this so seriously because in reality this is all about TOYS. Hey, I love toys as much as the next guy otherwise I would not bother to contribute photo's of my collection here.
But they are still toys.

So a blanket pardon is issued to all (including myself) by DMS. Let's enjoy the contributions of everyone, the way that they intended to display them.

Focus more on the work and less on the banalities.

And, I still wish to know how things are at the Feet of Morgoth. (C'mon, admit it . You laughed when you read that. I did when I typed it.)

All in good fun, lads. No hard feelings on my end.
