I like it as it is as it defines a difference between the clothing. I fear if you go darker it could lose this.
Very nice painting though and the war band will look great once they are all together.
My only thought is are you representing leather ? If you are then a very light drybrush of a lighter brown could help to assimilate the crackled leather look.

Here is my entry: Groblog with 5 Moria Goblins w/Spears, 5 Moria Goblins w/Shields, and 2 Prowlers. I'll be repainting the goblins in a different palette with different bases.

Great to see so many entries this month. I'm going to give some dwarves a shot. I've got Durin, Mardin and 1 Khazad Guard to strip. Then 3 Khazad Guard, 1 banner bearer and 4 Dwarves with bows who are undercoated.

Lot's of great warbands to look forward to.

I've only managed to undercoat mine but hoping to get them finished this week, in between Mother's Day today and my 3 year old's birthday next Sunday!

Only two weeks till the tounrament.... Oh boy!

Started, using resin bases from MDP

Also making a standard, from an Easterling Captains Cloak, a spare Mini Balrog head and a spear from an a Morgul Knight.

Had to heat the cloak to flatten it.

As I have finished building them, may I present ... My Grimhammers! My entry is 9 regular Grimhammers and a converted Grimhammer Captain, who is the one wielding a hammer in one hand in a "fight me" pose. Image quality isn't the best, but it'll do (took the pics on my phone).
