Thank you guys for the kind comments! He was really fun to paint maybe that showed on him \o/

I have been busy painting Fili & Kili. I've come to a point where I'm pretty happy with Fili. I'm not that happy with Fili's swords as they were really hard to paint using NMM, I'm still working on Kili and his face is much harder to paint than I thought it would be. But I'll see if I can manage to better his face. But here are pictures of them both.

Fili

Kili still a WIP

As always please C&C and if someone got any tips to better Fili's swords and Kili's face please share \o/

The detailing on Fili is really something special :yay:
I especially like the way you've done his eyes 8)

The NMM looks fantastic too :yay:

Thank you Sid!

I completed my first model for this months painting competition an Uruk-Hai Scout.

Image

I also played around a bit with carving in cork and made a statue or rather parts of it for bases. Might use it for bases for my warband of Uruk-Hai scouts in this months painting as at Amon Hen they hopefully have a statue looking like a warrior of Numeno. As that was the plan to make it look like somehow:P

Hi Crucifer,

really nice painting you show here! You have a very realistic style with a dark earthiness to it-the colours on your uruk scout are awesome! But I also like your dwarfs very much 8)

Just wanted to post and show my Uruk I made for this month's painting competition. I have been spoiled by the amount of detail on the EFGT sculpts so that these guys felt quite bland :( But they look pretty cool painted up imo \o/

Thank you guys for the kind comments. I have not been painting much lately, but I have painted up my Bombur from EFGT. It was a complete joy to paint him! As I wanted him to look like a grim chef with a cleaver and soupthingy. It was also a lot of fun painting such a bright color as orange.
I'm also pretty happy with the NMM on the cleaver, so here he is. Please C&C

Fabulous painting - I think you are managing a standard that is incredible given the number of minis you are turning out. And they are so lifelike! Bombur looks more like 54mm scale than 28mm - you brought out all the depth and textures and details very well.
I am jealous!

Thank you guys it is allways nice to get nice feedback. I set it as a goal to myself that I would paint all the EFGT guys using NMM as I normally wouldn't be bothered to do that. Damm all those nice and easy to use metallic paints;)

@Dorthonion
Thank you but the great sculpts of the EFGT box make all those come forth nice and easy =)

I posting my rohan banner carrier if you missed it in this months painting contest
