The Mirkwood Elves are using a different type of sword to those wielded by the High Elves and Galadhrim. Lots and lots of other interesting little snippets going on in the background. I saw orlando Bloom doing a spoof along with the 'Taking the Hobbits to Isengard' stuff somewhere a few days ago but cannot remember where exactly...

That video dorth is possibly one of the greatest things on the internet  about time we got a 'live' version. I want a full cast version as a bonus on the super mega triple triple extended Lotr/ Hobbit Blu Ray 3D box set.

On topic: Just watched the production vid, it looks sweeeeeeeet.

I saw in Thomarillion News they have beat us to it
I want to do Dale. I have been casting terracotta roof tiles.
I experimented last summer with Mirkwood.
There are lots of little details to work with in the blog. :D

Its on my list of scenery to make, right underneath Osgiliath, which i have been meaning to make since the Two Towers came out! so maybe 2015 !!!!

Its does look brilliant, i know Thormarillion had a some scenery and his models are brilliant, problem is the postage charges. Lets hope GW might make some as the detail is incredible.

I hope this too, a Dale or LAke-town scenery set, just like the ROME and Osgiliath set

IIRC, when Thorin's company build a barricade across the great door of Erebor, they fire an arrow at the elf herald sent to demand a share of Erebor's treasure.

I hope PJ changes it so its Thranduil himself who approaches the gate. I'd love to see the look on his face when a dwarf dares shoot an arrow at the King of the Wood Elves.

That would literally be just about the best thing to happen to cinema.
