I want to make boar riders for my dwarfs. I was thinking of using the same stats as wargs but with a shorter movement...say eight inches. Any thoughts?

That may be fun actually !

The same stats as wargs sound good, they should have the same ability to attack their enemies.
Perhaps a charge bonus (but it might be to overpowering) because of their tusks?
Or the same rules as the Haradrim camels.

What about -1 for an attack +1 to wound?

They are but they are in a different style. I think they will blend.

The cool thing is, that in a couple of years time GW may well sell Dwarf Boar-Riders for The Hobbit range, since Billy Connolly has stated that Dain Ironfoot will ride a great boar into battle. It is therefore reasonable to assume that his warriors will do the same thing.
