Dialogue seems clunky, and there's a lot of kung-fu going on. Lots of potential for nice minis though.

It's Legolas so what would you expect... But much of the dialogue seems okay to me

Im really looking forward to it, cannot wait to see the mini's of those heavily armoured elves, they made me think Fountain Guard at MT.

I think Thorin will be kind of Boromir-esque ultimately wanting something good (Borormir to save his people, Thorin to restore his people to their home) but losing sight of everything beyond his goal

I've gained a new appreciation for Bard as well. Perfect line delivery and the shot of him with the bow is badass!

Loving Smaug's voice, and the (very brief) clip we get of Beorn makes him look pretty badass! And the elves fully armoured look very cool indeed.

Just a quick question guys, between 0.39 and 0.40 Tauriel clearly kills an Orc. Looking at him, I think he looks quite like Fimbul. Anybody agree?

I'm skipping on the trailer for this one. I don't want to risk spoilage...especially Smaug. I just want to see him revealed in the film.

Harfoots-The first of the Hobbit people to cross over the Misty Mountains and enter Eriador.

The action really seems to have kicked in with the second film! Hopefully it will boost our the Strategy Battle game through the roof!

It looks like we shall see models for Thranduil, Tauriel, the wood elf jailor, Beorn and Bard as well as lake men, Wood elves with bows and heavy armour as well as a lakemen ballista!

The With Evil Smaug (if they can make him small enough!) heavy armoured (Gundabad orcs?) with banners etc, and hordes of spiders.

I am pretty sure that we will get a witch king and necromancer.

This should provide us with a much more developed miniature range.

I am sure that we will get a new boxed set and a supporting range of miniatures as with last year in late November.

I am particularly keen on getting a hoard of Giant Spiders, new orc troop types for evil, hopefully a mounted Thranduil and wood elves and a giant bear for the goodies!

There will be no new hobbit stuff based on the 2nd movie before december GW have a very strict license with newline/ warner bros. If there is going to be a starter set, it'll be released in december along with anything else they plan to release.

I dont think we need a new WK model and what would the profile of these armoured orcs be? We already have the str 4 morrannons and the F4 dol guldor orcs. A mix of the 2 mean they are basically uruk hai anything above that would be major power creep. Orcs are supposed to be a hoard army, not elites.

Everyone else probably know about this already, but I’ve just discovered the setting in Youtube to play at one quarter speed. Great for spotting things you miss at full speed.

I like the trailer much more than the old one. The old one kinda just focused on the elves while this one gives us a variety of dwarves, elves, men, orcs, spiders and dragon!

Why is no one on here complaining about the lovelife of Tauriel/Legolas which seems to be happening here? OK the trailer might be misleading, but why would they use a misleading scene of something alot of us fear for(e.g. loverelationshipnonsense)?

I reserve further judgement till it's actually released, but this trailer isn't doing it for me. There seems to be even more CGI in there than the last one. Not per definition a bad thing, but it looks like a computer game once again.
