Sounds nice! Hopefully the book has the old AUJ profiles in it too, then the pocket rulebook actually has a reason to exist. Sad the spiders are finecast, though. I did expect a number of FC releases though - this looks like everything that would have been made last year for AUJ. Hopefully the future is a bit more plasticy.

God knows how I'm going to budget for this though, since the bloody mirkwood stuff was what I was so looking forward to as far as Hobbit miniatures go. Hmmm. I really need to actually buy Easterlings first, but willpower isn't my strongest quality. Perhaps some character pieces to satisfy me till new year.

What are these prices in £ likely to be?

Beorn, thats interesting - we'll get a good look at him in miniature form before he's seen in the movie, they'll have to put a "spoiler alert" on his box ;)

Have been resigned for a few weeks to the fact that we're just getting a book and no new box, still a decent wave of mini releases by the sounds of it though, so look forward to the white dwarf next week (first W.D. I'll buy all year).

Well on average the exchange rate is £1 - $1.5 so I would say...

Legolas & Tauriel £15-£20 (the plastic libby for SM was £18.50)
Mirkwood Rangers/ Palace Guard £20 (same as current boxes)
FC packs (thranduil etc) £15-£20
Spiders £25-£30
Book £25-£30

All estimates based on exchange rate and current prices.

Thanks, mate.

Seems about the same as current, which is nice.

The only reason I kinda don't believe the list is entirely accurate is Beorn. He's too cheap for Bear and human forms and I just don't see him being sold as separate packs

Don’t forget the “barrels out of bond” box. I’m interested to see what it will be, I missed it at first in the list.

Just saw the list at Natfka, exciting stuff! Too bad the spiders are finecast and the rest of the finecast for that matter. I assume Palace Guards are Elves, right?

Not wishing to be sceptical, this list looks pretty credible (particularly bearing in mind the poor performance of the AUJ stock) but my gut feeling is that its just not right. There is no wow factor box set which accompanied every other film so far, which I would have expected re branding the range in line with the latest film.

In accordance with the currents us Gw prices to the uk ones.
legolas £15
Tauriel £15
Palace guard £25
mirkwood rangers £25
Thranduil £12
Mirkwood captains £20
Palace guard captians £20
Thrain £12
Beorn £15
Spiders £20 (finecast nooo!)
Desolation of smaug £18-£20 (going to be thin!)
barrels thing £40
It looks pretty legit. Also Finecast lives. Mixed reaction about that I guess I does mean some of the product range will live on.

I bet the Arkenstone that the DoS book is about the size of the LotR sourcebooks.

Hmm , interesting release list. I estimate around the £300.00 mark for all the leaked Hobbit models. That is funny considering everything on that leak list is what you see in the Trailers , which coincidentally ( Talking about the pre order list due on 30th , two weeks till the film is due out here by the way ) i believe is allowed in conditions that Warner Brother's told GW when they bought the license about the timing of the models they could release to avoid any spoilers being known. So i think this release list could be quite real guys. Nothing like a "leak" to heighten those salivating consumers hey >:D

I suspect this is probably the finecast Company everyone has been expecting since spotting the models in the updated rules. Would make sense since the Barrel scene was probably near the end of the original two part movie plans.

Cheap... of course being relative... but you are right. I would have expected the entire company in FC to be more expensive so I may be wrong.
