My thoughts on topics would be
To the Death
Here Comes Trouble
Is This the End

I'd keep this as broad as possible. Dioramas can be costly in terms of models, and it would encourage maximum participation.

What Gene said. You don't have to attach them to a base, but models are still costly if you are going out and buying them.

I like the sound of this and will enter, how about a minimum size as well. Someone could enter a 60mm base with some amazing figures on.

Perhaps somebody knows what the GW Golden Demon rules are regarding dioramas?

I will go and Google

Is there any final decision on if we are doing this or not ? If it's a yes then we need to sort a subject and a start date.

I think it would be most sensible to keep the topic as broad as possible, or simply do without one. A Diorama is a Diorama is a Diorama, after all.

Considering there'll probably be far less applicants than in the painting challenges, within reason, I wouldn't do anything to bar entry- restricting it to a theme included.

I agree with that. If a topic, it shouldn't be too restricting. Maybe something like "battle scene" or "small group" would be ok though, I guess.

I like that idea Rognarr.
