This is my latest project, which I have been working on over Christmas. A magnetised Space Marine Captain / Chapter Master for the 19th Legion, the Raven Guard.

I've dubbed him "Edithae" after the Somali Crow/Dwarf Raven, Corvus Edithae.

Note that the painting is still WIP.

The main piece.

The base model was a Shadow Captain Korvydae from Forgeworld.

Most of the weapons came from the new plastic Vanguard Veterans.

However, the Power Fist, the plasma pistol and the bionic arm holding it came from Forgeworld.

The head came from Anvil Industry - second from the left - chosen because of its resemblence to the Raven Guard Primarch, Corax.

The magnets also came from Anvil Industry.

Cool mini. When I played 40K, I liked to magnetize all of my minis as well, because they are constantly changing the rules for different weapons and making old builds obsolete. I always liked the Raven Guard background but was more of a Dark Angels guy myself.
