Smoking! The neutral gray background works very well as the black contrast with the fires is not lost. Very well done!

Hey all. You guys are too kind!
Back with another Rohan Royal Guard. Again the sculpting work was done by Dave over at Shadow and Flame. Check out their facebook page HERE

This guy is also up on CMON and I would greatly appreciate you helping me get to 50 votes. You can click HERE to cast a vote.

Thanks for looking everybody!

The sculpting is great, especially on the banner. The painting is at the same level; great choice of colors which provide contrast.

Wow- fantastic work! He looks very impressive.

*wanders off grumbling about the lack of pikes in mounted Rohan profiles*

A magnificent sculpt, clever conversion and a lovely paint job and basing. I really have a fondness for RRG - I wish United Cutlery would make their helm for the collectors as it is a gorgeous feature in their armour - a sort of Saxon/Viking theme with some Celtic hints in there too. And the RRG were always quite willing to get quite medieval on their enemies at every opportunity.
That mini looks magnificent - oozes power and confidence.

I love it when talented painters take my work and transform it into something magical. It was just a grey flag on a metal pole when I last saw it!. Great stuff! :yay:

Thanks again for all the compliments guys. Here are some Berserkers I just finished. bright lighting has it a bit washed out. Very fun to paint.
