Hey all,

So one of the many half build armies I have lying around is grey company but I've heard and seen first hand that an all Grey company, rangers of arnor army isnt all that fun to play so I am wondering how I can build a cool Grey company themed army that is a little more interactive then just shoot move back shoot. Anyways, any input would be great. I have a decent amount of rangers and even a couple actual grey company! Halbard, Arathorn, Rangers of the north. I usually play 500 to 700 points but I am really thinking more conceptually at this point.

Ally in a few high elves with Elladan and Elrohir to keep with the theme. "Aragorn's somewhat foster brothers come to the aid of the grey company with elven reinforcements".

Sounds like a good idea. If you have some way on converting them, you could always put RotN on horses? (Perhaps use Rohan Outriders as models?)

Yeah ive thought about trying to convert them or the outriders. RotN on horse are pretty solid. Elves could be cool but I really wanna keep it like the passing of the grey company/battle of the peleanor fields theme wise and while Elladan and Elrohir were there there weren't any other elves :/ Also, I play elves or wood elves a lot so I am looking to branch out! Thanks for the suggestion though!

Durin's Folk and Grey Company always complement each other nicely. You get good infantry from the Dwarves, and good bowfire and spear support from the Rangers.
