I'm looking for your various typical farmyard animals for lord of the rings terrain.

Does any one have any experience with 1/48 pegasus farm animals? These look great but am not sure about the scale.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331126386148?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Maybe the 1/64 ERTL figures? http://www.actionfarmtoys.com/64farm4.htm

The look like they lack detail but might be more appropriately sized.

What are they like for scale next to your LOTR figures?

Any other recommendations?

Regards

Look on Warlord Games web site. They sell farm animals that are perfectly to scale for 28mm figures

Hovels carry a complete selection of animals and they are in 25 mm scale (not 28 mm) and are perfect for LOTR.
Very nice people to deal with.

They look good xintao. Do you happen to have any of the other animals for size comparison??

The detail looks fine from your picture.

I will see if I can get some other shots up tonight.

FYI, the sheep are shiny plastic. Bright white. I'm painting them grey and will dry brush white. Then mount 3 to a base.
