Simple to make, yet very fitting bases 8) . Osgiliath Veterans would be particularly suited for such bases.

Thanks a lot guys!
I think I'll buy some grass tufts and add some here and there.

@Constantine: Indeed, now I think of it, I don't think I'll be able to come up with very different bases for Osgiliath Veterans, that's a shame.
Anyways, I'm still glad with how the bases look. I could add some ruins if I'm painting Veterans ^^

Currently working on my first metal figure ever; Theoden.
Will post a WIP pic soon.

Or you can add some rubble, but I don't think it's a shame, since the bases look so good.

Small update on my first metal mini;
Théoden

Image

Base layers of armour and parts of the clothing.
Still needs shading and highlights.

Image

At first I thought the hair was fine but now I've seen it in better light, it needs more shading and highlighting.

Face is all done, except for the one open eye and some touching up at the edges, which I'll do at the end.

C&C welcome!

Small update.

Never repainted the Rohan shields I painted 6 years ago.
Finally did it last week.

WIP King's Huntsman conversion
Scraped away his helmet to give him some hair and a beard.
Repositioned his bow arm and gave him an elf bow.

Planning on giving my KH scale mail, tried scultping it on another model first.
For a first try, it's not that bad but there's lots of room for improvement :D

Next up;
Finishing my KH
Painting some rangers or WFRS

Thanks!

I used this mini-tutorial;
http://www.ogrestronghold.com/forum/ind ... pic=5116.0

I found a tutorial for scale mail that looked more like the armour the model already has but I can't find it anymore.
That's why there's two different paterns btw.

A little bit of terrain this time!

It isn't much and needs a lot of work before painting.
The support beams aren't quite right at the moment so I'll have to replace them and add some more as well.
Don't really now what to do with the porch; wooden planks, stone, or just dirt.

Unfinished Théoden for scale.

Once it's tidied up I think you have the beginning of a great building. For me, I would go with a stone floor for the porch way.
