Great conversion which improves upon the GW miniature and gives the option for and earlier Azog to be played.

Personally, I'm not at all a fan of the "hook" arm, and don't like the change in narrative in this case- it seems to serve Jackson's desire to have a big bad baddie, rather than being the sort of intelligent and narratively enriching change we saw lots of in the LotR films. I get the impression that he's unnecessarily tinkering this time around.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I wholeheartedly approve of the arm sculpting! I was planning on swapping it out for something suitable, although at this stage I'm not sure what. If I can't find anything I'll follow your lead (after a deep brave breath!) and have a go at sculpting it.
It's mostly the hand that I find intimidating!

Great job, but did we expect anything else?! :D

I'll probably be making knife arms available if there is enough interest. 8)

Ah splendid. He is often overlooked as the middle 'child' but given a decent paint job he looks pretty good I think.

So it appears Shadow & Flame's first mini release will be a Travelling Dwarf . . . . Image

and he comes apart at the waist, should any of you convertors wish to transplant the top half from a dwarf of your choice instead.

I saw this on the FB group. Cannot wait to purchase some

Do you have a estimate of what they will cost?

I won't know for sure until I get an estimate from the casting company. On past experience I'd guess more than 5 GBP but less than 10.

I'm interested in this figure, so I will await your pricing. Will it be a metal figure ?

Ooh pretty model! I'll definitely pick one of those up once they're available. I love the way it has been sculpted in the likeness of how the Dwarves from the book would have looked - very clever! :yay:

Yet more wonderful work from yourself! I look forward to seeing what more miniatures you come up with. :)

It is a lovely sculpt with lots of character and that waist split is sure going to be handy for some people.
