Unfortunately I was unable to complete my entry due to a lack of free time but I will endeavour to finish it over the Summer and then submit a different one for the next one.

Well done to all who entered - fantastic work by all accounts! Each and every one of you has earned my deepest respect for getting such detailed and high quality dioramas completed by the deadline. :yay: 8)

Once again well done and it is very hard to separate each entry but I think Celevue just takes it for the fantastic "explosion" and attention to detail as the wall explodes. Wonderful to behold! :) :yay:

Dr Grant lost my vote by a minuscule of thought. The painting, scenery and set up was superb, but just not epic enough for the Battle of Five Armies. There was no sense of 'clash' between them, just an array of very well painted miniatures, almost a showcase of armies rather than a diorama of sorts. And I'd like to add, please don't take my criticism to heart, I'm merely explaining my thoughts.

CELEVUE won solely because I felt their diorama was the most dramatic, something which I believe a diorama should be. It looked like a screen-shot of live-action footage, only in miniature, and for that reason you secured my vote.

But well done to everyone on the whole. Each display is markedly unique, and equally as impressive when you consider the time and effort required to construct dioramas such as these!

Thanks for the kind words fellas, they are really appreciated. It's nice you have noticed the little details I have thrown all over the diorama. It took a little thought to incorporate some of these things without them looking daft or out of place.
However I think I am destined to be the bridesmaid, again.....

Some of my favourite people in this thread. However, there could be only one.

Celavue- fantastic idea, brilliantly executed.

You guys have all done a really cool job. Well done all of you, I don't think that the vote really means much here.

Congrats to all of you. These are outstanding entries :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

The fact that there are only 4 entries is testament to just how hard it is to get a diorama finished - even in 6 months.

Gandalf - the painting, the scenery, the atmospheric photos make this a brilliant diorama and my favourite of all of them. Such intricate detail on a large scale. Brilliant work.
Adanedhel - a fantastic range of miniatures in appropriate actions poses that have been fit together perfectly in action sequences throughout the diorama. In my opinion this diorama tells the best and most interesting story.
Celevue - a brilliantly creative action scene. Certainly the most spectacular of all the entries. Great conversions on the figures to ensure they fit the scene. The explosion looks real! Just amazing.
Dr Grant - a fantastic range of miniatures that collectively tell the complex story of the BoFA. The painting, scenery and attention to detail is awesome.

Well done to all of you. You now have some amazing dioramas to take pride of place in your display cabinet.

You've no chance Gandlaf, any minute now will come my 50 vote last minute surge :-)

Great work by everyone, it's taken me genuinely ages to decide who to vote for. I love all three but I think that Adanedhel88 deserves more votes for the excellent work on display. The BOOB sequence is one of my favourites in DOS and I love the scale of your piece. I'd very much love to have the scenery, barrels and Hunter Orcs all painted to play out the scenario so your diorama has really hit the spot with me personally!

Not at all! Thanks so much for the kind comments! You're absolutely right, the board was created as a display board and only entered into the challenge as an afterthought so I'm happy to not take votes from the guys who spent so much time and effort creating such incredible dioramas!

Well done to everyone though and thanks to anyone who voted for me, I'm genuinely humbled to receive any votes amongst such awesome competition!

Thanks for the comments & votes from my behalf, too - and kudos to every single diorama that was finished and entered in this challenge. These things take a surprisingly amount of time and effort to complete...
