I was wondering if anyone on here also played Battlefleet Gothic, I have an imperial, craftworld eldar and chaos fleet (though I am thinking of selling that one).

I've always been very interested in it. But unfortunately no one plays it around here

I used to play. I had Imperial, Chaos, and Space Marine Fleets. One buddy had Eldar, one had necrons, and one had the Forgeworld Tau. We enjoyed playing, but I moved away from that group, and eventually sold off my fleets. Fun game, although Chaos were a bit undercosted, and the Eldar were just annoying.

I have a space marine fleet, only had a few games, can be quite fun but certainly quite strategic too.

Chaos seemed overcosted? I've found they were more flexible then imperials and there ships had a lot more firepower.
Gondorian Captain:Where abouts are you? If your in the uk/near london or reading I could proberbly do a game sometime.

I actually said they were undercosted.

oops, misread that, I need more sleep.
Yeah the fact chaos ships seem to be able to do a lot in comparison to the imperials is annoying, and marks gave some nice wriggle room in point building.

Zarathustra Suicuine, I'm actually moving back home to London in a couple of weeks from now. Up North atm.

Yeah sounds good, have only played it a couple of times but it seems like a pretty cool game for those in love with 40k fluff. Last time I played I rammed a battle barge into one of the big fighter carrier ships...Seemed like something the dark angels would do lol

I used to play BFG a lot and collected sizable Eldar and Imperial Navy fleets. When GW axed Specialist Games, I picked up Ork, Chaos and Tau fleets too with the idea of keeping the game alive single handedly. Unfortunaly, I really have not had time to get these new fleets painted up.

I do think BFG is one of GWs best game systems and is a lot of fun.

There are new games coming for HALO and Drop Zone Commander that involve fleets. Some fine looking minis too!
