I like the kind of theme you have rocking, it is pretty cool and seems very to the book/film.


I'm thinking that you should move some of the riders to theodens warband to keep the numbers balanced, say 3 from Theodreds? Just so one warband isn't critically weak.

Also, this is just my opinion, but I think it would be better if you dropped Hama's horse for more throwing spears on the foot Royal guard. Makes them more dynamic and this way you'll also have a hero with them to help support.

Finally, I would suggest that you got a few outriders in there. They are better archers and you can afford it in terms of bow limit, thanks to the Royal Guard on foot.

Pretty good calls there, although Hama is not the best to be lead on foot however...Hes not great but though hes a bit more effective on horse and I dont mind keep him in the back of the army, since rohan dont have spear support a character that can move close to double might be a good efford to help the royal guard where the fight is thickest..

But like you said Im going to review this all background and curiously I made an all out heavy armoured rohan list with plenty characters, course had to get riders of rohan since a full rohan royal guard army aint as much effective anyway...

The good thing on this army is that meanwhile theoden is alive, warband 4 is practically immune to any courage test either from terror cause foes or broken army...

Warband 1 "the king´s guard"

The typhicall Theoden warband which includes most of the Rohirrim top cadre on the land, these are sworn to protect their king with their lives

The great hall of medusel includes several of Theoden´s personnal bodyguard lead by their captain Hama.

Warband 3 "The Scouting party"

Not all of Rohan Forces are mainly composed of elite hearty fighters, but also by a great number of skirmishers and harassment smaller groups, these small forces ensure to scout ahead of the main Rohirrim army to harass the foe, it is also said Theoden´s personnal hunter venture into this small war parties taking as much tool disabling enemy commanders and get the enemy in disarray before the armies clash.

There is a big dilehma around here cause eomer knight of pellenor seems very important in any rohan force, hes the top heavy weight rohan characters to have a minimal chance to be considered as an heavy character killer.
The bad side of this is that hes really expensive compared to other guys (although well worth it)

The Kings Huntsman is an independent hero, and as such he cannot lead troops.
