Plastic Tauriel is definitely a better model over the resin, still even with your magnificent painting it doesn't resemble Evangeline Lilly, like most of the range not looking like the actors. I was hoping it was just GW's paint job, but you've shown that at least with this model it bares little resemblance to the actress.

I have the resin model and I'd say with that one it is a case of a poor studio paintjob. The face has a much better shape and definition. It's no Arwen though.

I have finally finished my Thorin's company.

I've also recently painted a Fellowship for a commission that turned out quite well and has inspired me to repaint my own.

Nice work as usual. Put up your master of lake town though, that one's exceptional. Saw it on your blog or another forum perhaps.

That is some seriously proud work. They look as though they have walked directly out the films!

Fantastic work MMS! The only thing that troubles me about that Fellowship is Legolas's bow and Merry's dagger bent oddly.

Point and click camera, tripod, foldio portable studio, and couple extra lamps.

I ilke both dwarfs and fellowship, but the master of lake town is real masterpice., So realistic, great job mister
