Looking sweet :)

I have these coming in the post, inspired by seeing your model based up. I'm still uhming and erring about it, because I also play War of the Ring... When you base them up, will they still fit in a WOTR movement tray?

Hi g_k,

The bases I have used for my cavalry are exactly the same size (40mm) as the standard ones you get with the minis, so they will fit in any tray the GW bases will fit in. Does that help?

Eagerly awaiting a possible basing tutorial!

Of course, anything picture heavy would be hugely exciting.

Thought I should probably check the pieces still fit together before finishing the final details and basing...

Couldn't resist the opportunity to do a cheeky photo too

Beautiful work. Gratz. Been checking out the bases, might have to get some :) The little bits of yellow and purple work really well.

Lol, not quite. I know 40mm bases fit in the WOTR trays. I means the Golden King's base that BrushStroke is using.

So, Brushstroke, will they fit in a WOTR base? :)

Thanks enosphere, I'll post a pic of the trays I have, so you can see the different shapes and sizes you can get. Might help convince you :)

Hi

for my Golden King I have based the guards on 25mm discs which are the same size as the standard bases. So, they would fit the WOTR tray for sure. I have then put them into a two slot movement tray.
I very much doubt my movement tray would fit into a WOTR tray, but I've never seen a WOTR tray so I can really be sure. :)

Because you know I'm all about that base! :-D

As a lot of people are interested in the movement trays I'm using for my Haradrim minis I thought you might like to see the trays I have for the rest of my little army.
It gives a good indication of the different shapes and sizes they come in

Bases and trays are available from here:
https://secureshop.co.uk/epages/950003459.sf/secfef2b82afe/?ObjectPath=/Shops/950003459/Categories/Movement_Trays/Irregular_Movement_Trays%5B1%5D

They even do plain mumak size oval bases, exactly the same dimension as the standard base

Really nice body of work. Might give the bases a similar attempt. It's handy to have all your figures organized

Thanks Gene :)
I agree, it's great for display and from an organisation point of view.

I think these movement trays are brilliant and would recommend them to everyone to try.

Thanks Sithious. The example base in the guide was a little rushed, to be honest, so the end result isn't quite on a par with my cavalry bases but people should be able to follow the steps and take a bit more care and attention to get a better result.
