Swap the bow on Theodred for a throwing spear. You gain absolutely nothing for the shield otherwise. Since you only have 2 heroes who can take advantage of it, I would drop the Royal Standard and just use a normal banner, then bring in more troops.

Every Rohirrim has the Expert rider rule, so shield and bow are no problem.

they only benefit from the rule mounted, when on foot they can shield but don't get the +1 defense.

indeed. But one could always drop the bow. That being said, I wouldn't give Thedred a bow. Seems like a waste of points to me.

This rohan list seems more of a fun one rather than a competitive one.

Its fun to see that the basic helmingas if they decide to pierce strike they have S5 minimum, in the expense of some defence, in which oponents wont wound them better than a 3+. (they work more or so like goblins) :P

That's what the throwing spear is for, it would actually be useful.
