High Elf spearmen

Hey lads, I'm back with a question after a long hiatus.

How much of a pain are the "Fine"cast Elf spearmen? I have quite a few of the metal ones (like 12 or so) but don't have the time or funds to troll around looking for more of them online. The FC ones are pricey but much easier to get my hands on. Only trouble is, being spears, they're probably garbage. How much of an issue have you guys had with them?

I'm not a fan of finecast. I have a few minis in FC, just handle with care and you'll be fine.

Yeah, I absolutely loathe the stuff and so far have only gotten it when I had no other choice. Sadly, I think my days of buying up OOP metals are behind me. They're getting so outrageous that I'm even thinking of parting with some of my only copies of things. Prices are just getting silly!

I don't have any of the spearmen (yet), but I did get Gil-Galad in finecast. I actually didn't have any problems with his spear, and this was back when it first came out when fc had some major issues. The biggest problem you'll probably encounter with them will be that their spears are bent, which I hear is nothing a little warm water can't fix.
To be honest, I don't have a preference between metal and fc. Both can have problems, and both can be a pain to fix.
