Cave Troll base

Hello,

So I bought the cave troll with hammer over head the other day on eBay, and it came with a base piece! The seller sold them as a lot, and it looks like it's meant for the troll as there is a slot for the troll's feet. I have never seen or heard about this base piece before. Does anyone know if this was a limited edition of some kind? I'm sure it's from the Lotr range as it has a Khazad Guard axe on it. I have followed the LotR range pretty closely since TTT edition of the rules, so this was quite a surprise.

Very bizarre. Never seen anything like it either. I am sure someone on here will have come across it... Cool though!

Yes that's the one. I couldn't find this base in google images or on any pictures I've seen of this troll.

@Oropher: At first I thought maybe it's for a different model, but it's not the one on Warg Marauder, Dweller in the Dark, or Cave Drake. And no one in the Dwarf range has a 40mm base, except maybe the metal King's Champion?

Not, the metal king's champion is on a 25mm base. Maybe you have a relic!
