Hi.
The Dunlendings are from Mierce Miniatures, Red Box Miniatures, Warlord, GW, Foundry, The Vinny Brothers... a mix.

Not overly keen on the Troll model itself however you've done an excellent job with the painting.

I agree with CG, troll aint that nice due to the model itself.

But I really enjoy seeing some alternative models, it brings a lot of ideas.
Especially those dunlendings.

Wonderful painting!
The models look like a cross between GW's Mordor Trolls and the 3 Stone trolls from "The Hobbit".
As if they took the Mordor Trolls armor and put it on the Stone Trolls.
And it doesn't really work.

But still magnificent painting. Congrats!

I really like what you've done with the basing for those goblins, very clever so they always look like they're in goblin town. I think the bits of blood are a nice extra touch too :)

You might have a decent chance in this month's competition with the Mouth of Sauron, looks like you've done an excellent job with the highlighting on the black there, not an easy job!

The dwarves are great, I like that you use models from outside the scope of gw to expand your armies. The wizard guy is very cool, awesome beard.
The trolls fir well with the hobbit, so much variety in that film that these are great choices. Look goofy scary.

The dun land warriors are fantastic. Again the variety by looking outside the gw box makes these very slapped together rough and poor, how perfect for wild men. Great job.

Mouth of souron looks great. Black robes are not easy to work with. I think it is a fine example. I do see slight color variation from horse baring and Mos cloth, now that would be realistic on a real horse so no problems there, but it is noticeable, a little more blue applied in the barfing it seems. Again, not a critique, as both cloths are black and look well done, just pointing b it out incase it is something you did not try to do ad I am aware this is your contest model.

Keep up the awesome updates.

The MoS looks great, the metal work is particularly effective.

Marvellous painting. Those trolls look a little 'primitive' to my eyes - maybe I am spoiled by the better moundings and sculpts available from other sources. You've made the most of them with superior painting.

Hi
Thanks for the comments.
About the black clothes of the horse... I took as reference this photo from the Mouth of Sauron's horse and I think some clothes are like a few with colour...

Image

Is for that I used some blue and green for the lights in the black clothes of the horse.

Blue in black cloth is done often. I just made the observation in case you overlooked the distinction, some people strive for over all symmetry. But it looks fine.
