I want to get a full grey company list, that consits of 100% bow limit.
So what do you guys think of this list:

Warband 1:
Arathorn
4 rangers w/ spear
8 rangers

Warband 2:
Halbarad w/ spear
4 rangers w/ spear
8 rangers

2 dunedain w/ spear
4 dunedain

487 points, 32 units.

I find it hard to get a list of around 500 points.
Any tips are welcome!

I also have Aragorn, Twins and soon three rangers of the north. I was also thinking of proxying some faramir's rangers as arnor captains with bows.

For a 400 game I thought of:

Warband 1:
Captain of Arnor
4 rangers w/ spear
5 rangers

Warband 2:
Captain of Arnor
4 rangers w/ spear
5 rangers

2 dunedain w/ spear
4 dunedain

398 points, 26 models.

I have rather limited experience fighting for or against Grey Company, but I would suggest Elladan and Elrohir. Once your force makes it to combat, they will die fast, so you need to make sure you are dealing as much damage as you are taking. They are also versatile, have elf bows and plenty of might, so they are a good addition. Arathorn is great, too. I would most likely drop Halbarad and as many Rangers as you need to add the Twins. Other than that looks fine. Good luck!

Grey company is my favourite force. Personally I like to field 50% spears. Aside from that your force looks fine. Halbarad is one of my favourite heroes, but he does not need a spear, give him a horse or spread those points out across your force. Also, consider adding Malbeth for "fury" saves. The twins are a fantastic addition as they provide a massive boost to your force. I sent my Arnor force against my buddies erebor force and in a single turn I was able to bring my twins against Thorin (fully loaded) and take him out in a single turn. I had to expend all their might to do it, but it completely demoralized my opponent. I went on to win the match.

Thanks for the tips! Do you bring the twins mounted or dismounted?
And where do I get a mounted Halbarad, haha :P.

The Twins, like most heroes, are better mounted IMHO. The mounted Halbarad does not exist. Conversion?

You are most likely right, but I don't really like the mounted versions for my Grey Company force :p. I now have the unarmored ones and they fit perfectly in the Grey Company. Lightly armored, but deadly ;).

You have to make the mounted halbarad. That being said, I almost never play mounted minis. I field infintry. Halbarad, the twins, arathorn, aragorn, all on foot.
