Hi, Kalevala. First I had to look for the meaning of meta, then I got a impression of what your asking for. Maybe I'm wrong, then please explain your question a little more.
I interpret meta for LotR SBG as: what are current trend in playing an army building, what could one expect in a tournament, what are new ideas for the games and old ones which can be put aside.
Some points from tournaments in Germany which might be interesting: Sometimes only one nazgul on fell beast is allowed bv tournament rules at most, most evil armies use evil heroes from the Hobbit like Azog, only heroes armies are more frequent, f.i. Thorin's company, champions of Erebor, the white council with figures from the Hobbit; Alfrid is found in many armies where he doesn't really fit in; the monster attacks are often used ...
So much as a brain storming. What are your experiences and interpretations?
In this video dchl Cole is trying t describe the word meta and what it means for our hobby. Well said in my opinion:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7gvly5BQgA&t=54sThank you for the feedback! I want to know about the certain GT as it is the most recent great event, but a meta feedback is always welcomed.
In my area, the hobbit armies are most used these days due to the army special rules. Except from that the old good felbeast/shade/monster army is a always expected as the good hero-only army.
Except from all these I learnt that Dchl Dave was the one that won this GT, so I am going to ask for info on their channel and as they did before I think they are going to give a nice feedback here.
I am really hoping that the guys from gbhl or any other kind buddy will help with his own info, if he can find the time to type them down. Many thanks for the activity in the topic guys!
