Thanks! They were originally for 2 different Darklands forces, but they have come together to serve Saruman as Dunlendings ;)

The Darklands guys are great proxies. How do they compare sizewise with warriors of Roahn?

Pretty similar I think, within the range of scales that the official models have, anyway ;)

I will try to get a pic to show the scale.

I like how you painted Gandalf's cloak! And the detail on the belts/buckles is very sharp and crisp. The jetty is a fun terrain piece as well.

Thanks for the kind words!

I've made a bit of progress on Weathertop - I filled the worst of the gaps left by my inept assembly, and added a few of the citadel vines around it.

Filling in gaps is a lot of work, but totally worth it in the end. Your Weathertop is looking great so far!

Thanks for that :)

Today we have 4 Aragorns done (except for basing, still haven't had good enough weather to get things spray varnished).

Thanks, PoW! Hoping to get them based soon once the weather is good enough to get them varnished.

The ford is done!

Here it is:

Nice idea on building of the ford. Also like how you paint the different poses of a figure at the same time.

Thanks very much!

On that note, today we have 2 Boromirs finished - Still not got around to spray varnishing anything as the weather has been mixed, so the queue to be varnished and based keeps on growing.
