Which army do you find the best and the most well-rounded from the lotr range? Assume each army can fight monsters, heroes, and warriors, as well as will meet magic and banners. IT should be well rounded.

Interesting how half went with good, half with bad. And how the iconic armies seem preferred. I guess they just have more units available, creating a customized experience?

Yeah. Mordor and Gondor have, arguable, the largest rosters and most adaptability in their lists for the most part. Lorien, Khazad-dum, Isengard, and Azog's Legion also have good selections but they also have drawbacks that are harder to deal with in my opinion. Thus, are less well rounded then the two poster children for middle earth. That does not mean, of course, that the versatility can be translated into competitiveness per-say.

I always though Khazad Dum could handle itself well... In theory. Have not played with or against it yet, but high defensive, cheap but good heroes, cheap balistae, and strength 3 bows... Seems good. No cavalry is not ideal, but I took down Rivendell Knights with orc warriors. So seems like it could work.
