Hey my dudes!

Inspired my the crazy new Pelennor Fields scenario in the Lord of the Rings Armies book, I've set out to make a HECTIC 8x6 foot board :D I've just finished the first part focusing on the first 4 feet of the Rammas Echor :D

My first post will be:

I intend to change my career to a burglar and steal your boards.

Brutal! :)

Curious at this point whether or not you just have a warehouse full of terrain at this point. Either way, great work!

I will certainly check this out when I have time to fully enjoy it. Plans to enter Armies on Parade this year? I hope to do the mountain featured in "Khazad-Dum" and deck it out with Dwarves. Ah, work; Can't live with it, can't live without it.

I'm in the process of watching your build, and I love the idea of the flaming trenches of doom. In an issue of No Quarter magazine, they built small fires using hot glue guns on low setting. I wonder if this might be a money saving alternative for you? We plan on trying it in my house; my niece and I want to replay scenario #12 from Battle Companies with some better props than dice. (She's determined her elves will do better than my loaner goblins.) I could probably scan the article to you if you're interested.

Also, consider investing in the Hirst Arts octagonal tower mould? I love mine, it also has some really nice straight pieces with the same texture on them. I have used the singles mould, and it has its pros and cons. Pros: time saver! Cons: Depends on what you're making. A roof with a lot of odd angles that is small is actually easier to do with paper shingles. Also, it's hard to get the thickness of the plaster identical, so my roofs always have a bit of an unnatural height variation. I just cut a strip of cardboard and don't cut my shingles all the way through. A little quicker, though I do admit yours look better.

I'd love a close-up/tutorial on the gate. I've never thought of using the circle pieces on an angle like that, brilliant! I'd love to see how you got it to line up that well and what diameter tower you used. Any chance your buddy would sell his arches? I've been putting off these walls for years simply because I don't want to make foam arches.

2 questions.
1-What do you do with these boards when your done with them?
2-If you sell them or auction them, can I get first bid?
Awesome boards as always, and awesome videos in general.

Very well done as usual, also enjoyed your battle reports on the board.
