Really great. The neutral brown works perfectly. Would you kindly share your green recipe?

Thank you!

The greens i used, were:
GW Caliban green
Army painter Wizard orb
From that point on, i added Game Colour Off white.
Then, I glazed twice with a mix of green with tiny amounts of black wash.

Heya all!!

Among the many things i painted these past few months and I want to show you. A nice sculpt for a non movie character, with some extra details. I don't like the fact that the shield is quite thick, but there are worse, like Deorwine's.

Nicely painted miniatures, but also really nice terrain in the background. I love the background sunset/sunrise. Simply really beautiful pictures. If you want more comments on the miniatures themselves, I suggest posting some close up pictures of them. Looks really good as far as I can tell by these pictures.

Great painting and pics. Nice job.
One day I will have a Rohan army. Seeing this just spurs me on. :)

First completed Elfhelm I've seen. The chestnut horse looks great and I love the green gold. Very well done and inspirational indeed.

You're right, I'm afraid. Here are some cropped and zoomed in photos.

Wow! Your work here is incredible. I'd never seen this Elfhelm model before!

Your detail work is crazy good. I really like the contrast you achieved and the depth on the green/yellow armor pieces is great. What kind of finish did you use?

Thank you!

I usually use Army Painter's Anti-Shine to finish my models.

I didn't have only Elfhelm photographed.
A large project came to fruition, Dain Ironfoot and his army.

Following their leader, Dain, the Dwarves of the Iron Hills will fight against all odds. Equipped with long spears, shields, mattocks and crossbows, bring with them ballistae, and come on goats or on chariots.

It was a long journey painting these for a regular, sometimes full of frustration, sometimes full of joy.
The result is that now, I've bought my own (larger quantities) models to paint, even more eager and hungrier to make'em justice.
Brilliant models from #Forgeworld. I can't praise them enough.
A highlight for me, is that the crews on the ballista and the chariot are magnetised and removable.

You certainly have a signature style. Once again, lots of light, bright colours, which I prefer to the dark, gritty minis that seem to dominate the hobby. The banner is really outstanding, beautiful blending there.

Can I have your wood recipe?

I really like how you painted the dwarves, but even more I do like your Elfhelm! Fantastic job on the details and the face! Hope that someday I can paint them half as good as you :D

Incredible pictures! Outstanding army. I am curious, how long did it take to paint it all?
