hi there - super glue is good for metals and resin.
here's some ideas:
- makes sure you give all the models a light wash in warm soapy water. This removes the releasing agent used to make the model molds. - allow models to dry thoroughly - do a dry-attach at each join - i.e, line up the arm and the arm socket and get an idea of the fit and angle before gluing - apply small amounts of super glue, and then wait about 30 seconds or so to allow the super glue to activate just a bit - press the two parts together and hold firmly for 60 secs or so - place down carefully, and place at the necessary angle to avoid putting pressure on the newly glued join
Hope this helps....

Plastic models can be melted together using plastic cement. It's not a glue; it causes a chemical reaction in the plastic that melts it together. This creates an almost indestructible bond. The secret it to use it sparingly. You also won't glue yourself together with it, but it does kind of burn when you get it on skin.

Just a tip on super glue and pva glue (for terrain/basing), you can normally get them for a fraction of the price from discount or buildings trade stores.
