Hallo everyone,

Haleth and Aldor are 2 new heroes, which can already be purchased, see this link:
https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-NL/The-Defenders-Of-Helms-Deep-2019
I like the flavor of their rules (see donwload pdf on the link).
What do you like or dislike about them?

Lovely models, I think.

Unfortunately the bit with Aldor is one of the worst bits in the films - Why did they all draw their bows and then wait??? :)

Well, I might break down and by some more forge world resign guys after all.

Haleth looks like he will be necessary to make a more standard Rohan infantry force now. Kind of disappointed that the buff isn't tied to the Legion rather than being a base special rule because that is definitely what he is for. An infantry legendary legion.

I kind of like that they gave old one eye a model, then again, I kind of don't. He is sort of a joke character in the film and as long as he is an independent hero that is really what he will be on the table as well. Like bringing Pippin in Minas Tirith. They could have merged him with the Hama the old character from the books and made him a captain level guy. I think that would have been neat.

Still they will both add some character to the army. Probably going to get them to add to my defenders of the Westfold collection.
